Your Daily Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Tangier
Arrival in Tangier and transfer to hotel, will have a small tour in Tangier.
Day 2 Tangier / Tetouan / Chefchaouen
After breakfast we leave for Chefchaouen passing by Tetuan, we will take advantage of each stop for the beautiful villages that we will find in our tour to take photos and contemplate the landscape. Once in Chaouen, we will take a stroll through the town center, enjoying its famous square, its flea market, through its blue lanes. Accommodation in the Riad.
Day 3 Chefchaouen / Meknes / Fes
After breakfast, you will set out in the morning to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. We will be taken in Meknes one of Morocco’s Imperial cities, your guide will take you on a tour of Meknes, and then you will visit also the holy city of Moulay Idriss where will get lunch. After lunch will be take the road to fes the spiritual capital in morocco, dinner will be served in the Riad or hotel.
Day 4 Fes / Atlas Mountains / Midelt / Erfoud
Depart Fes after breakfast and start heading to the famous South of Morocco. Visit the forested hillside city of Ifrane built in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village, today a popular ski resort area. Then continue to Azrou, famous town for woodwork. Near Azrou you will also encounter in the cedar forests many colonies of Barbary apes that will keep you amused. Then continue towards Midelt where will get lunch. Then we will going through ziz valley. On the evening will arrival at the Kasbah in Erfoud,. Dinner will be served in the Kasbah.
Day 5 Erfoud / Rissani / Merzouga Desert
After a breakfast, you will explore the small towns of the Erfoud and Rissani desert where you will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you will drive with 4×4 vehicles through the barren land to the majestic sand dunes of the Merzouga Sahara. We will have tea after we start the desert field, where our dromedaries await us, we cross the dunes to the heart of the desert to watch a beautiful sunset. Hidden behind the Great Dunes, and enjoying the music of nomads, Moroccan dinner and tea, you can see the vast sky of the stars and sleep in the Berber nomad tent. (You can choose the hotel in merzouga for sleeping is an option if you prefer hotel to tent).
Day 6 Merzouga / Tinghir / Todra Gorges / Dades Gorge
After breakfast, you will set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to Boumalen Dades! Along the way, you may enjoy a walk in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high) near of Tinghir city for lunch and will across the oasis of the Dades by palm groves. On the evening will arrival at hotel in boumalen dades.
Day 7 Dades Gorge / Valley Of Rose / Ouarzazate
After breakfast we will continue along the “Route of the Kasbahs”. We will visit the Gorges of the Dades, and by track we will enter in the High Atlas where we will be able to discover another way of life of the Berbers of the mountains and we will see the caves where they live as they did in times past. We will pass through the town of Boutghrar and the Valley of the Roses where its inhabitants make creams, soaps and rose water. Then we will continue to Ouarzazate, passing through Skoura which is a large palm grove and the state of most of the kasbah that were concentrated in this palm grove, are in a deplorable state, the most important of which is Amredil, we will pay a visit, and Then continue to Ouarzazate. Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 8 Ouarzazate / Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou / Marrakech
After breakfast, you will you will start to Marrakech via Kelaa megouna the rose city and Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, it is one of the jewels of Morocco. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered…usually off the beaten path. In actuality, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and The Gladiator.
After lunch, you will head over the mountains to Marrakech. Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Jemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Jemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular panoramic view of the bustling square. Dinner will be served at the Riad or hotel.
Day 9 Marrakech (City tour)
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day with private guide for visiting Marrakech, ” known also as the “red city” for its red mud brick buildings. Founded by the Almoravides dynasty at the end of the 12th century, the city is located in the heart of a palm grove and surrounded by impressive mountains” . Spend the morning discovering the souks and Djemaa El Fna square, a market during the day and a site for an endless parade of performers and entertainers at night. After lunch at the hotel or restaurant, visit the Saadian Tombs, the Museum of Moroccan Arts hosted in Dar Si Said, the Menara and Agdal city gardens, the Koutoubia tower, and finally the Bahia Palace. In the evening you have the option to dine in a typical Moroccan restaurant with folklore show. Night in Riad or hotel.
Day 10 Marrakech / Essaouira
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive west towards Essaouira MOGADOR, a charming town well known for its artisans who produce unique handicrafts. The city suddenly appears over a great rocky peninsula, with its white walls, blue doors and windows. The beauty of it all, the softness of colours and light, the fresh climate in the summer create an ambience that reins it. You will get the lunch of soft fish near of the beach of medina. Essaouira is where the sea and the dreams are infinite, where ancient stories are marked on the small port, on the fort of Vauban, and the labyrinth of streets hide so many tales. Spend the night in a riad or hotel in Essaouira.
Day 11 Essaouira / Casablanca / Rabat
We leave early from Essaouira to Rabat, we will pass by Casablanca, and visit the Hassan II mosque. We will have lunch and continue to Rabat, where we will visit the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Tower of Hassan and the Museum of Money. You will check into your hotel.
Day 12 Rabat / Kenitra / Asilah
Breakfast at the hotel. We leave to Asila, we will pass Kenitra and then Larache. We will have lunch and arrive in Asila to visit it and spend the night in the riad.
Day 13 Asilah / Tangier
After breakfast transfer to the port or the airport according to the scheduled time and end of our services.
